A new addition to the Vincent et Mireille collection, the 100% cotton moleskin gardian jacket continues the legacy of the emblematic garments of Camargue tradition.

Its sober line, straight cut and deep black colour make it a piece that remains faithful to the gardian spirit while meeting a desire for contemporary elegance.

Directly inspired by the old coltins, also known as bourgerons, this jacket draws on the codes of a true work garment: a structured silhouette, a dense fabric, impeccable hold and great simplicity. It is naturally worn with black or grey moleskin gardian trousers to create a harmonious silhouette.

This jacket is perfectly suited to everyday life in the manades, thanks to its durability and quality of construction. It also has its place in the city, worn as a distinctive piece combining French elegance with timeless style.

Carefully crafted in 100% cotton moleskin

Moleskin is a cotton fabric with a particularly tight weave. Appreciated for its durability, density and excellent structure, it gives this jacket a clean visual presence and an authentic feel. Its 100% cotton composition enhances the natural comfort of the fabric while preserving the robust spirit of traditional garments.

The jacket features a straight cut, true to the classic lines of the gardian wardrobe. The chevalière collar asserts its traditional character, while the central button fastening provides a simple and elegant finish. It has one chest pocket, two lower patch pockets and one inside patch pocket, designed to preserve the balance between everyday use and refinement.

The finishing details discreetly express the Vincent et Mireille identity: buttons engraved with “Vincent et Mireille”, a gold and red label at the collar, and an embroidered crest in gold and red thread on the inside right-hand side.

A heritage rooted in traditional workwear
